Hey guys and welcome back to Foodie Friday and the close to our third week! Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone, where everyone is Mexican today!
Listen guys, I have been hankering for some tacos lately. And I have to honest, I was an early celebrator of Taco Day. But really? Can anyone have too many tacos? Answer: yes. But one must take every opportunity to celebrate Cinco De Mayo around the 5th of May, after all.
Here are some pictures of the tacos I made last night (for presentation effect and for eating, of course!)
Now that I'm good and bloaty and full of yummy tacos, it's time for the Taco Blog! Cue the Mariachi Music!

How awkward is this photo? But it's fantastic.
And now that we know our Mariachi band quite well, including their nick names (stick around until the end of the video,) let's move on to have some more fun and learn a brief history of Cinco De Mayo.
So to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, like all of Americans do, unlike the real Mexicans, we all grab our favorite taco bar ingredients and make a fun night of it! Here are some Cinco De Mayo dinner ideas for you:
(Wish my pictures looked as good as these ones)
Here's a fun song for you while you whip up your guacamole.
So listen guys, I have literally been dancing in my seat and playing the air maracas since I sat down to write this blog. Hope you're having as much fun as me! So go to the store and buy all of your favorite Mexican foods and celebrate today! Because, after all, it's the day that we're all a little bit Mexican, isn't it?
